Nothing there to load at all. Hi,After reading all the glowing reviews on this book I happily bought it for my son along with the Saitek yoke, throttle and Flight Sim X software.Well, the program loaded and runs well on my sons pretty darned high end computer. So, I'm stuck. BUT when I got to the book, pg 33, where he was actually going to start learning (via the book), we went to Free Flight then Load as instructed, but there was nothing to load. No Chapter 02 First Flight or anything else. If anyone can help me, I'd greatly appreciate it. will change my rating if i can get it going,ps,computer is running Vista 64 bit, quad core, if that matters
You'll be so ahead of the game your instructor will be impressed. If you're thinking about getting your private pilot's license, start here. If you have a decent computer, get FSX, a flight stick with yaw control (or pedals) and start with the beginning and finish the book. Wish I had this book when I was starting. Great job Jeff and Kevin.
If you want to know the basics of flight in a very comprehensive way, this book is for you. In a personal way, I'm more than satisfied with this purchase. It has complete information for flying enthusiastic. Great investment for MS Flight Simulator X owners. Go ahead. you won't regret.
